Development of Tourism and Marketing Strategy for the Southern Circuit in Tanzania

The general objective of the Program was the conservation of the biodiversity and ecosystem of Southern Tanzania and create the conditions to generate sustainable tourism flows at local, national and global level, through territorial planning mechanisms and the improvement of operational capacity. The area of intervention area was the Ruaha and Kitulo National Parks. The Tourism Development and Marketing Strategy for Southern Circuit has provided a framework and strategic direction for TANAPA (Tanzania National Parks Authority) and stakeholders in the tourism industry by addressing issues such as accessibility (transport and infrastructure), planning, development of a product portfolio, investments and HR development.
