The Government of Peru has taken out a multiphase loan with the IDB to develop interventions in four heritage cities as part of the Program for the revitalization of the Historic Centers of Peru.  The objective of the Program was to preserve the historic centers of Lima and Ayacucho, through investments in strategic infrastructure rehabilitation projects, as well as via measures for urban resilience and the revitalization of the local economy. The main objective of this consultancy was to carry out detailed feasibility studies for the historical centres of both Lima and Ayacucho.
