The Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MOCT) through the ESTDP project, financed by the World Bank, aimed to transform Ethiopia’s tourism sector through global, integrated intervention. One of the main challenges for Ethiopia’s tourism industry is the lack of organized and reliable tourism information. The objective of this consultancy was to provide the country with a tourism statistics system that provides regular and accurate statistical data to the public and private sectors.
