Destination Management, Development and Marketing for the Essequibo Circuit
This project aimed to establish a new Regional Destination Management and Marketing Organization (RDMMO) within the existing Essequibo Circuit. The main objectives of this project were to create a replicable and sustainable governance model, strategy, and action plan that can be repurposed and implemented by the GTA in other areas of Guyana; and to launch and market a new RDMO in the Essequibo region. The main aspects of the RDMO model will be based on: Sustainability; Stakeholder Inclusion; Experiential travel product development; Promotion and marketing – including logo and marketing linkages, and GTA support and transfer of knowledge.
