Promoting the usage of e-marketplaces by exporting SMEs
The main objective of the assistance provided will be to analyze the principal challenges, in Colombia and Peru, for the growth of electronic commerce along with the limitations and barriers for SME’s who wish to sell their products via e-commerce.
The assistance will include:
1. Determining the usability of e-commerce for export companies in the project area.
2. Analyze the availability of suitable infrastructures to help promote e-commerce. Identify regulations and incentives for e-commerce.
3. Identify the factors that block e-commerce and the export processes used by SME’s
4. Examples and International ‘best practices’ (benchmarking) for e-commerce.
5. Identify the form of e-commerce best adapted for the culture and costume of the country in question.
6. Finding a strategy to reinforce and increment the use of e-commerce for exportation of SME’s
7. Search for applicable incentives and short term technical support in favor of businesses who wish to take advantage of e-commerce.
